Head-On Bus Crash in Beliatta; 30 Hospitalized

COLOMBO (News 1st); A severe head-on collision between two buses near the Hettiarachchi Bend in Beliatta has left 30 individuals injured.

The accident occurred early this morning (29) when a private bus traveling from Dickwella to Beliatta collided with a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus heading in the opposite direction.

According to police reports, the injured passengers have been admitted to Tangalle and Beliatta Hospitals for treatment.
