Four Suspects in Contract Killings Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Kalutara Crimes Division has arrested four members of an organized crime gang involved in contract killings using swords and machetes. 

The suspects were apprehended in connection with a brutal attack on a businessman in Bandaragama on the night of April 17.

The arrested individuals are residents of Panadura, Payagala, Bandaragama, and Uragaha. 

During the investigation, police recovered a sword, two machetes, and three mobile phones allegedly used in the crimes.

The suspects are scheduled to be presented before the Panadura Magistrate's Court.
