Canadian High Commissioner meets Opposition Leader for talks

COLOMBO (News 1st); Canadian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka David McKinnon met Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in Colombo on Thursday (06) for talks.

According to a post on the Opposition Leader's Facebook page, the meeting was based on multiple bilateral matters of importance. In addition, both sides exchanged views on the present COVID-19 pandemic situation in Sri Lanka and the world. The Opposition Leader had directed the attention of the Canadian High Commission on assisting Sri Lanka to combat COVID-19.
