Indian National Arrested with Kush Worth Rs. 41.2 Million

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An Indian national was arrested at the Kankesanthurai Port after arriving from Nagapattinam, India, on a passenger ship carrying Kush.

The arrest was made during an inspection carried out by customs officials. The suspect had concealed 4 kilograms and 120 grams of Kush by creating false compartments in his luggage.

According to customs, the street value of the seized drugs is approximately Rs. 41.2 million.

The suspect and the drugs have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
