Department of Ayurveda to Recruit 304 Ayurvedic Doctors

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Ayurveda has announced plans to recruit 304 Ayurvedic doctors to strengthen the country's traditional healthcare services.

Commissioner Dr. Dhammika Abeygunawardena stated that the relevant gazette notification will be published next week. Following its release, the recruitment process will proceed through a formal application system.

According to the Commissioner, the newly selected doctors are scheduled to assume duties starting August 1.
