CCTV Investigation Launched into Shooting at Halloluwa’s Vehicle

COLOMBO (News 1st)  - Investigations have been launched using CCTV footage into the shooting attack on the vehicle carrying Thusitha Haloluwa, former Director General of Public Relations to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The incident occurred last night in front of a private hospital in Narahenpita.

Haloluwa was not injured in the attack.

Four teams, including the Colombo Crime Division, are conducting the investigation on the directives of Acting Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasuriya.

An important file in Haloluwa’s possession at the time was reportedly taken by those involved in the shooting.
