Two dead in separate shootings within 24 hours

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 52-year-old man has been shot dead in Hiddaruwa, Kosgoda early on Wednesday (21) morning.
Police said a 46-year-old was also shot dead in Niyandagala, Homagama.
Police said an unidentified group had shot him at his home on Tuesday (20) night and fled the scene.
He died upon admission to the Homagama Hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the shooting.
Police said investigations are underway to arrest the suspects.
