Validity of VISAs extended by 30 Days to 07th September; No overstay penalty for expiring VISAs

COLOMBO (News 1st); The validity period of all types of visas currently obtained by foreigners residing in Sri Lanka has been extended by 30 days from 08th August 2021 to 07th September 2021.
The Department of Immigration and Emigration announced that only Visa fees applicable for that period will be charged for the Visas that expire within this period and
are exempted from charging overstay penalty.
