Armed Men Abduct Young Woman In Weligama

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 21-year-old woman was abducted in Weligama last night (24), according to Senior Police Superintendent Buddhika Manathunga. 

The abduction was carried out by two individuals armed with sharp weapons.

The woman, who works at a textile factory, was on her way home after finishing her shift when she was taken. The suspects reportedly followed her husband before abducting her.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
