Former Minister Tiran Alles Appears Before CID

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Public Security Minister Tiran Alles arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department this morning, following a notification issued by the CID.

Police said that the former minister was summoned to provide a statement regarding the death of a police sergeant attached to the Colombo Crime Division, who was killed in a shooting incident near a hotel in Weligama, Matara, in 2023.
