9000+ COVID cases reported so far in May 2021 - NOCPCO

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka registered 9,383 COVID-19 infections from the 01st to the 06th of May 2021, said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO)

. Accordingly, doing the said period 2,320 COVID-19 infections were recorded from the Colombo District while Gampaha recorded 1,705 COVID-19 cases. 1,245 COVID-19 cases were recorded from the Kalutara District, said the NOCPCO. In March 2021 alone Sri Lanka recorded 9,463 COVID-19 infections and in April 2021 Sri Lanka recorded 15,440 COVID-19 infections, said the NOCPCO.
