3,445 health workers & military personnel given second dose of COVID vaccine

COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 3,445 frontline health workers and military personnel were administered the second dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine, said the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday(28).
According to the Epidemiology Unit the second dose of the vaccine was administered on the 27th & 28th of April 2021 and the process is to continue. In addition, a total of 2,435 Chinese Nationals in Sri Lanka were given the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine as well.
