Suicide Victim tests positive for COVID-19 in postmortem PCR

Colombo (News 1st); The 22nd COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka was reported on Monday (02) morning, said the Department of Government Information.
The victim was a 27-year-old male from Panadura who was admitted to the Panadura Base Hospital on the 31st of October after committing suicide, said a statement quoting the Epidemiology Unit.
It added a postmortem PCR test revealed the victim was exposed to COVID-19.
