All passengers must undergo PCR testing : Health Chief

COLOMBO (News1st): Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe says anyone who enters the country from overseas must undergo PCR testing and cannot refuse to do so. He said, this mandatory requirement applies to ordinary passengers as well as diplomats. Dr. Anil Jasinghe made this comment in response to a News 1st report on an incident where a US Diplomat had refused to undergo PCR testing at the BIA. He stressed he was unware of the said incident and was not informed about it by any responsible authority including those at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
