COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund exceeds Rs. 900 million

COLOMBO (News 1st): The balance of the COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund has surpassed Rs. 900 million. The Sri Lanka Foreign Service Association had donated Rs. 2.8 million to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as a contribution towards the COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund. Governor of the Sabaragamuwa Province, Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, and several others in the region had also donated cheques towards the fund. The President's Media Division noted, that donations to the COVID – 19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund have been exempted from taxes and foreign exchange regulations.
