Grade 01 students to be enrolled on 16th January

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Students for Grade 01 are due to be admitted to schools on January 16th. Secretary of the Ministry of Education, M. H. M. Chithrananda said that the national ceremony will take place under the auspices of the subject Minister Dallas Alahapperuma at the Wilgamuwa Dharmapradeepa Primary school in Matale. Further, the Ministry has also taken steps to ensure that every child is admitted to Grade 01. Meanwhile, the process of enrolling students to Grade 6 based on the Grade 5 scholarship results is due to take place on the 17th of this month.
