Three police officers injured in road accident

Colombo (News 1st) - Three Police officers suffered injuries when a jeep attached to the Anamaduwa Police met with an accident in the Uppalawatte area. According to the Police, the jeep ran off the road and toppled when returning to the station after morning patrols. A sergeant and two constables who were in the vehicle at the time were injured and admitted to the Anamaduwa base hospital. One of the injured victims was later transferred to the Puttalam hospital.
