"The party is not united" - Minister Sarath Fonseka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Following an event in Kurunegala on Sunday, journalists questioned Minister Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka about the statement that he had made about his supporters being harassed although he is a member of the government. Fonseka stated that he does not believe that the smear campaign against him is being run from within the UNP. However, he did note that the entire party especially it's seniors should come together at times like this in order to face these problems. He noted that this is a problem that the party faces at present.
