President Sirisena declared open the "Nila Sevana" office in Anuradhapura

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The newly constructed "Nila Sevana" office in the Lankapura administrative division in Polonnaruwa was declared open by President Maithripala Sirisena this afternoon. (July 8) The building was constructed at a cost of Rs 2 million by the Ministry of Home Affairs. A group including the Minister of Home Affairs Vajira Abeygunawardena, the district secretary of Polonnaruwa and other government officials were present at the occasion. The president also declared open the "Nila Sevana" office at the Al-Hilalpura 133 Grama Niladhari division in Lankapura. The Neela Sevana building will house the Samurdhi Office, Grama Niladhari office, the Agricultural Research and Supervision Office and the Economic Development Office.
