Salley Returned To CID Custody After Hospital Treatment

COLOMBO (News 1st): Retired Major General Suresh Salley, the former head of State Intelligence, has been brought back to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

This follows the completion of his medical treatment.

The former State Intelligence Service (SIS) chief was hospitalized due to an ailment related to his ear.

Suresh Salley is currently held under detention orders by the CID in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

Meanwhile, police stated that a Magistrate inspected the cell where Salley is being detained at the CID.
