IGP Highlights Challenges Facing Sri Lanka Police

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Sri Lanka Police is facing several challenges, according to IGP and Attorney-at-Law Priyantha Weerasuriya.

He stated that organized crime and drug trafficking are the main challenges facing the country.

The IGP made these comments yesterday while attending the graduation ceremony of trainee police officers at the Pahalagama Police Training College in Anuradhapura.
