AG Files Fresh Indictments Against Yoshitha Rajapaksa and Daisy Forrest

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Attorney General has once again filed indictments before the Colombo High Court against Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his grandmother, Daisy Forrest, over a joint bank account holding Rs. 59 million with an undisclosed source of funds.

Investigations have revealed that Daisy Forrest does not possess any known assets and is financially dependent on the Rajapaksa family.

The Attorney General had previously filed similar charges under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in connection with the same account.
