Water Supply Disrupted Due To The Prevalent Dry Weather Conditions

COLOMBO (News 1st); Water supply has been disrupted in some areas due to the prevalent dry weather conditions.

The Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Deepthi Sumanasena, said that due to this, water supply has been disrupted in several areas such as Ratmalana, Piliyandala, Moratuwa, and Panadura.

He also points out that water consumption has increased with the dry weather.

The Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board adds that water should be used sparingly under the prevailing conditions.
