COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo High Court has extended the freeze on the bank accounts and life insurance policies of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella's wife and family members for an additional three months.
This decision was made following a request from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
The order, now effective until April 2nd, applies to the accounts held by Keheliya Rambukwella, his wife Kusum Priyadarshani Epa Weehena, Chamithri Jayanika Rambukwella, Chandrani Pamali Rambukwella, Amali Nayanika Rambukwella, and Isuru Pulathisi Bandara Dehideniya.
Investigations have previously revealed suspicious activities related to these accounts, prompting the initial freeze.
