778 Dengue Cases Reported in First Week of December

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Dengue Control Unit says that a total of 778 dengue cases have been diagnosed within the first week of December.

The National Dengue Control Unit added that the total number of dengue cases reported this year has reached 46,305, with 11,670 cases reported from Colombo district, which is the highest number of cases reported so far. 

The National Dengue Control Unit added that there are 12 high-risk MoH divisions across the island. 

Additionally, 23 dengue-related deaths have been recorded so far this year.
