Woman Arrested at BIA for Smuggling Cigarettes

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 52-year-old woman from Wadduwa has been arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake for attempting to smuggle 5,780 illegal foreign cigarettes into the country.
The woman had arrived in Sri Lanka from Dubai.
The Police Narcotics Bureau is currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
