Calling for Applications for GCE O/L Examination to Begin Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The calling for applications for the 2024 GCE Ordinary level examination begins today. 

The Department of Examinations says that only applications sent online will be accepted.

School applicants may apply through the Principal, and private candidates may apply personally, following the instructions provided. 

Private candidates for the GCE Ordinary level examination are supposed to use their national identity cards during the application process. 

The Department of Examinations says that if the NIC is not available, the applicant may use their guardian's National Identity Call for registration, and submit the application. 

The Department adds that the deadline for submitting applications is midnight on the 30th of November, and that this deadline will not be extended for any reason.
