COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka is in discussions with New Delhi to adopt India's PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, an integrated project planning tool that has successfully cleared infrastructure projects worth over INR 15 trillion since its launch three years ago.

Launched on October 13, 2021, the GatiShakti initiative aims to enhance multi-modal connectivity and streamline infrastructure planning by integrating data from various ministries and state governments. With its emphasis on efficiency and transparency, GatiShakti has become a model for effective infrastructure development.
