COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's Viren Nettasinghe clinched the gold medal in the men's singles category at the Bangladesh International Challenge 2024 Badminton Tournament.
In a thrilling final, Nettasinghe defeated Canada's Xiaodong Sheng with a dominant 2-0 victory.
It is the first time a Sri Lankan player has won the men's singles category at this tournament.
