Update: Injured Persons in Hatton Bus Accident Now at 46

COLOMBO (News 1st) - COLOMBO (News 1st) - The number of people injured in the bus accident in Malliappuwa, Hatton, has risen to 46.

The accident occurred this morning when a bus traveling from Hatton to Kandy overturned and fell into a 20-foot precipice.

According to the police, the injured passengers are currently receiving treatment at the Dickoya District Base Hospital.

Three people lost their lives in the accident.
