Election Commission to certify 2024 voter list in July

COLOMBO (News1st); The National Election Commission said plans are in place to certify the 2024 voter list at the end of July.
Its chairman R.M.A.L. Ratnayake said the appeals filed over its initial draft are being examined at present.
The relevant activities will be carried out under the leadership of District Assistant and Deputy Election Commissioners.
Ratnayake said accordingly all elections held after next month can be held according to the 2024 voter list.
