Miss Sri Lanka Sandani Peiris wins 2nd Runner-Up at Top Model of The World 2023

Colombo (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's Sandani Peiris won 2nd Runner-Up at the WBO Top Model of The World pageant held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh on Friday night. The pageant was won by Miss Mexico Mariana Macias, with Miss Colombia Leicy Rivas Moreno being adjudged 1st Runner-Up.

The winners were chosen from among 43 contestants during a 2-week competition at the Sunrise White Hills Resort on the coast of the Red Sea. Among the six finalists were Miss Dominican Republic, Miss Thailand and Miss Sweden.

This was the 29th edition of the annual event, conducted by the World Beauty Organization (WBO) 

Apart from being a model, Sandani Peiris, 22, is also a dress designer and ballet dancer.
