Ambassador Chung and ITAK MPs Focus on Justice and Growth

COLOMBO (News 1st); On Wednesday, January 8th, U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung, held a productive discussion with Members of Parliament from the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK). 

The meeting focused on how the United States can continue to support Sri Lanka in areas such as accountability, justice, reconciliation, and economic development.

Ambassador Chung emphasized the U.S. commitment to fostering dialogue and promoting initiatives that contribute to Sri Lanka's path towards lasting prosperity and inclusivity.
