COLOMBO (News 1st); A group of representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to arrive in the country on Monday (20).
The Ministry of Finance stated that the delegates are visiting the country to further expand the discussions regarding the funds to be obtained from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The Ministry of Finance said that the IMF representatives are scheduled to meet the President, the Prime Minister, officials of the Ministry of Finance, and officials of the Central Bank.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance said that representatives of Lazard and Clifford, the financial and legal consulting firms that Sri Lanka has hired to restructure loans to Sri Lanka, have begun their monitoring activities.
