COLOMBO (News 1st); An interim report on the investigations carried out on Tirukumar Nadena, the spouse of Ex-Deputy Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa, embroiled in the Pandora Papers Expose', will be handed over to the President.
Secretary to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption Apsara Caldera told News 1st that investigations are still ongoing.
She said that investigating officers are going through the bank details, financial details of Thirukumar Nadesan as well as documents from state bodies.
In addition, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption said it will record a statement from Ranjan Ramanayake with regard to certain information that was revealed in the Pandora Papers Expose', based on a request made by Ramanayake.
Ranjan Ramanayake is currently serving a prison sentence for contempt of court and he will be summoned to the CIABOC in due course to record a statement.
