COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lankan Government is considering the option of opening tourist attractions to people who have been fully vaccinated.
Director-General of the Tourism Development Authority Dhammika Wijesinghe stated that the Health Ministry was approached to obtain permission for this purpose.
However, before entering tourist attractions, the vaccination card or a copy of it must be submitted to confirm that the visitor has been fully vaccinated, the Director-General said.
She added that people who took only one dose would not be allowed to enter tourist attractions.
