Over 69,000 second doses of AstraZeneca administered yesterday

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has administered the second dose of the Covishield-AstraZeneca vaccine to 69,266 persons yesterday (01), the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health reports. Moreover, 146,220 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine and 432 doses of the Moderna vaccine have been administered yesterday (01). Meanwhile, 24-hour vaccination centers are currently in operation to inoculate persons with the necessary second dose of the Covishield-AstraZeneca vaccine.
