The Gammadda International Leadership Council, set up to support young Sri Lankans and their leadership aspirations, brought in some of Sri Lankas most admired leaders to one single platform- The V-Force Leadership Series, in a ground-breaking online series held during the challenging travel restriction period.

The Zoom events conducted over a few weeks saw thousands of youth from all parts of Sri Lanka joining in and actively engaging directly with the invited speakers.

“We are thrilled at what GILC has achieved in this short space of time, thanks to our amazing speakers who willingly shared their time and experience with so many thousands of young Sri Lankans”, noted Chevaan Daniel, who heads the Gammadda Movement.

The GILC Graduation Ceremony, held online, will be graced by Chief Guest The Vice Chancellor of the Peradeniya University Prof. Upul Dissanayake while the Key-Note Address will be delivered by Dr. Bill Silcock, Emeritus Professor at The Arizona State University (ASU).

The Gammadda Movement is Sri Lanka’s largest grassroots initiative operating across over 35,000 villages and covering a vast array of public service spheres including rural development, International Relations, Art, History and Culture.
