17,000+ COVID infections reported so far in May 2021

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 17,760 COVID-19 cases from the 01st of May 2021 to 06:00 AM on 10th May, said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID- 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

During the said period the Colombo District recorded a total of 4,246 COVID-19 infections while Gampaha District recorded 3,329 COVID-19 infections.

Further, the Kalutara District recorded a total of 2,514 COVID infections while the Galle District recorded a total of 1,101 COVID-19 infections from the 01st of May 2021 to 06:00 AM on 10th May, said the NOCPCO.
