Assistant Superintendent of Sri Lanka Customs arrested by the CID

COLOMBO (News 1st): An Assistant Superintendent of Sri Lanka Customs has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department. The suspect has been arrested over the re-export of dried Eric-a-nuts worth over 300 million Rupees from Indonesia. Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said that the suspect had entered fraudulent data into the system in order to export the dried Eric-a-nuts to India.
