Ranga Dias among Time Magazine's 'Next 100 List'

COLOMBO (News 1st): Ranga Dias, an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester, has been named in Time Magazine's 'Next 100 List' that recognizes 100 emerging leaders who are shaping the future of entertainment, health, politics, business and more. Assistant Professor Ranga Dias, who came up with a solution that could pave the way for future innovations: a room-­temperature super­conductor that’s super-­dense instead of super-­cold, is among the 19 New Innovators of the Time Magazine's Next 100 List. Time magazine on February 17th unveiled its 2021 cohort of the “TIME100 Next” list, featuring the year’s emerging leaders.
