Winner of Sirasa Lakshapathi Shukra Munawwar felicitated

COLOMBO (News1st): Shukra Munawwar who won the grand prize of 2 million rupees on Sirasa Lakshapathi yesterday was felicitated at her alma mater, the Galle Sudarma College today. The event was held under the auspices of Group Director of Electronic Media Business of the Capital Maharaja Group Nedra Weerasinghe. 10 students who performed well at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination in Galle were presented with laptops as a mark of recognition for the achievement of Shukra Munawwar who participated in the Sirasa Lakshapathi programme to purchase a laptop to facilitate her efforts to engage in distant learning. Upon the request of the principal, the Capital Maharaja Group had agreed to improve infrastructure facilities at the school including those related to drinking water.
