24-HOUR WATER CUT IN COLOMBO: NWSDB

COLOMBO (News 1st): Multiple areas in Colombo will experience 24-hour water cut from 09:00 AM today (Jan. 23), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said on Friday (Jan. 22). Accordingly, the water cut will be experienced in all areas from Colombo 01 to 03 and Colombo 07 to 12. The water cut will be in effect due to shifting of Raw Water Transmission pipeline to Ambathale Water Treatment Plant for the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation Flood Control Canal construction.
