AKD slams government's handling of COVID tonic

Colombo (News 1st); Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake criticized the government's handling of the so-called Anti-COVID tonic prepared by Dhammika Bandara.

When the so-called cure was given to the Health Minister, rather than directing it to research, she consumed it said Dissanayake adding it would the same when a cup of poison is also given to her. He said the Health Minister should at least give an assurance on such matters, however, its failure was exhibited when government faction lawmaker Piyal Nishantha tested positive for COVID-19 even after he consumed the tonic which is known as Dhammika Paniya.
