Colombo (News 1st); Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga said she cannot comment if the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, which she led while President, is moving on the correct path or not.
Speaking at the 122nd birth anniversary of late Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranayake on Friday (08), the Former President said she predicted the SLFP would be treated unfairly when it joined the government to form an alliance.
'I have not left the SLFP and I am still an advisor and member of the Politburo,' said the Former President adding she is disappointed over the SLFP's state of affairs.
Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga visited the Bandaranaike Statue in Galle Face to pay her respected to her late father, one hour before the official commemoration was to take place.
She said she was not invited to the event, adding the SLFP has not right to deny her the opportunity to pay respects to the Bandaranaike Statue in Galle Face.
