Restrictions imposed on entry to Dalada Maligawa temple

COLOMBO (News1st): Entry to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy has been restricted for residents of areas that are under curfew, temple officials said. Visitors must carry their National Identity Card and wear a face mask when visiting the temple, the temple's chief lay custodian Pradeep Nilanga Dela insisted. Devotees will be allowed to enter the temple after washing their hands and undergoing a temperature check, he added.
