74 COVID-19 cases on Thursday(15); 68 from Minuwangoda cluster

Colombo (News 1st); The total number of COVID-19 cases from the Minuwangoda Cluster rose to 1789 on Thursday (15) as 68 new cases were reported from the cluster.
22 cases were from Quarantine Facilities and the other 46 cases were close contacts said the Department of Government Information.
In addition, another 06 COVID-19 cases were reported on Thursday (15) making it a total of 74 cases reported during the entire day.
02 of these cases were Seafarers and another is a Sea Marshal
The other three cases were Sri Lankan returnees from the United Arab Emirates.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka is at 5244 and the Health Ministry said 1851 patients are in hospital for treatment.
