South Asia Textiles employee tests positive for COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); South Asia Textiles Limited said one of its workers in Katunayake had tested positive. A statement from South Asia Textiles Limited noted the identity of its employee would not be revealed in order to respect his privacy. It added all operations of South Asia Textiles Limited were suspended as a precaution the COVID-19 case was detected from PCR testing carried out on all staff from 10th October. It added all PCR tests conducted on other employees thus far have come negative.
