National Surfing Championship kicks off at Arugam Bay

COLOMBO (News1st)The National Surf Championship Series & Open Surf Championship 2020 commenced in Arugam Bay on Saturday (26) and will continue on Sunday (27).
The championship is jointly organized by the Surfing Federation of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Tourism.
Officials said that 101 athletes representing 15 countries will take part in the championship.
The semi-finals and finals of the championship will take place on Sunday.
The closing ceremony of the championship will be held under the patronage of Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa.
