Traffic Light network down following power-cut

Colombo (News 1st); SSP Indika Hapugoda, the Director of Motor Traffic and Road Safety of Sri Lanka Police said Traffic Police officers have been deployed to control the flow of traffic following the power-cut which resulted in the entire traffic light network going dark.
He said additional officers were dispatched to areas that experience heavy traffic on any given day.
SSP Hapugoda urged motorists to follow all road rules in order to avoid any inconvenience and to follow the directions given by the Traffic Police Officers.
